Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:
1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
1 pie crust - store-bought or homemade
Instructions:
Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Stir in eggs and evaporated milk until smooth.
Prepare Crust: Roll out a pie crust and place in a 9-inch pie pan.
Fill Pie: Pour pumpkin mixture into the crust.
Bake: Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes, then reduce to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Allow to cool before slicing. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
