Creamy Tomato Basil SoUP

Ingredients:
2 Garlic cloves - minced
1 tbsp yellow union or shallots
14 oz canned crushed tomatoes
7 oz canned whole tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
Heavy cream or half-and-half
2 tbsp fresh basil
1 tbsp Olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
Instructions:
In medium sized pan: Add olive oil over medium heat, garlic and yellow union for 3 minutes
Add crushed tomatoes: Then, add the whole tomatoes one at a time and break them in the pan.
Add: chicken broth, salt, and pepper:
Cook for 10 minutes: Stir occasionally over medium heat
Reduce heat: Stir in heavy cream and chopped basil.
