Beef and Broccoli

Enjoy a quick and satisfying meal with our Beef and Broccoli! This classic dish combines tender slices of beef with vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, all cooked in one pan for easy cleanup. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s a delicious way to get your protein and veggies in one go!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sliced beef - flank steak or sirloin

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Beef: In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Cook Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef in batches and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  3. Sauté Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the remaining oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute, then add the broccoli and cook for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

  4. Combine: Return the beef to the skillet and add oyster sauce (if using). Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.

  5. Serve: Enjoy hot over rice or noodles!
